2 cups sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
Waxed paper

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan bring to a boil: the sugar, cocoa, butter and milk. Let boil for 1 minute, then add peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal. On a sheet of waxed paper, drop mixture a teaspoon at a time, until cooled and hardened.

Grandma D (Doris Poole) lived in the small town of Crooksville, Ohio. We as grandkids would often make the visit to her house. We have great memories of shooting basketball in her living room and running laps through her house. There were two things you could always count on at Grandma's house...Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies in the middle drawer and No Bake Cookies cooling on wax paper. Grandma D. was quite the baker despite being legally blind for most of her life. These cookies take me back to Grandma's house.
