2 Cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, soda, baking powder & salt. Cream shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and white sugar until fluffy in a large bowl. Add egg to mixture. Add dry ingredients alternatley with orange juice to mixture, it will make a stiff dough. Chill until firm enough to handle and then roll dough a teaspoon at at time into balls. Place 3" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet, flatten in criss cross fashion with a a fork. Bake @ 375º or until golden brown, cool completely on wire racks.
