2 ½ cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
¾ cup vegetable oil
1 cup nuts (I use any kind.)

Directions:
Directions:
Stir these 7 ingredients. Take 2 cups of this mixture and put aside.

Add to the mixture (left in the bowl):
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg

Mix thoroughly and then pour buttermilk mixture nto a 9” x 12” baking pan. Sprinkle the 2 cups of set side crumbs over the buttermilk mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

This is a very old family recipe. I remember coming home from school with the whole house smelling like cinnamon!
