1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup shortening
4 eggs
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4 medium bananas
3/4 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs one at a time and mix each time. Sift flour, add nuts together. Mash bananas and add salt, soda and vanilla to bananas, then add mixture to sugar and shortening mix, add flour and mix well. Pour in well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350º for about one hour.
