FROSTING:
1/2 C. (heaping) crisco solid
1- 2 lb. bag powdered sugar
1/2 C. milk
1 egg white
1 tsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. almond flavor
1 tsp. vanilla extract
CAKE:
1 pkg. Deluxe Duncan Hines Cake Mix
1 tbsp. crisco solid
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. butter melted
1 tsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
FROSTING: Cream shortening. Add as much powdered sugar that it will take and still be creamy and easy to spread. Add egg white and beat well. Add butter, almond and vanilla and continue to add powdered sugar and milk, alternately until the ingredients are used up. Keep covered when not in use. CAKE: mix the cake according to package direction and add the additional ingredients listed.
