1/3 cup minced white onions
2 to 4 Serrano chilies (recipe calls for using seeds but I do not), minced (we have always just used 2)
1 tsp coarse salt
3 to 4 ripe avocados, pitted, peeled and coarsely chopped (about 2 pounds)
3 TBS fresh lime juice
3/4 cup peeled and diced pear
3/4 red seedless grapes, halved
3/4 cup pomegranate seeds, divided (about 1 to 2 pomegranates I buy just the seeds in a container)
Tortilla chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the onions, chilies and salt in a large bowl, forming a rough paste. Fold in the avocados and lime juice. Add the pears, grapes and ½ cup of the pomegranate seeds. Place in a serving dish and top with remaining pomegranate seeds. Serve the guacamole with tortilla chips
