1 cup seedless raisins
1 cup soft butter
1-1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
2 T rum
1 T vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt
2-3 T half and half

Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar (may need more)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 T half and half
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Chop raisins fine. Beat butter, sugar, rum and vanilla until very light. Add raisins and flour re-sifted with salt. Add enough half and half so dough is soft and easy to roll into balls. Use one tablespoon dough per cookie. Roll into balls. Bake on ungreased sheet at 350º for 9-12 minutes just until set. Ice when cool.

Icing:
Sift sugar and beat with vanilla and half and half. Tint desired color.
