1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1 small onion
¼ dry breadcrumbs
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp salt and pepper

Southwest Sauce:

1 tsp canola oil
1 small onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
¾ cup ketchup
1/3 cup water
¼ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup cider vinegar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
dash hot pepper sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl beat egg and mix in onion, crumbs Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix in beef. Shape by heaping tbsp in 1½ inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on a foil lined baking sheet. Bake in 450o F oven for 20 minutes.

In a saucepan, over medium heat cook onion, garlic, chili powder and cumin, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Stir in ketchup, water, sugar, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Add the meatballs and simmer stirring often. Heat through and serve. The meatballs freeze well.
