1 cup Coke (the real thing, not diet!)
1/2 cup oil
1 stick butter
3 Tblsp. cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Frosting:
1 stick butter
3 Tbsp. cocoa
6 Tbsp. Coca-Cola
1 box confectioners sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan and add coke, oil and cocoa. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. In mixing bowl, add flour, sugar and salt. Pour coke mixture into flour and mix well, then add eggs, buttermilk and soda and beat well. Finally add vanilla and mix. Pour into a 9x13 greased and floured baking dish and bake at 350 for 25 min. Cool about 10 min. before frosting.
Frosting: Melt butter in saucepan and add cocoa and milk and heat. Stir in vanilla, then gradually stir in the powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and spread on still warm cake.
