5 potatoes, peeled and cut
1 chopped onion
2 celery stalks, chopped
2 Tblsp. butter
4 cups water
2 Tbsp. bacon grease or bullion
salt & pepper to taste
3 Tbsp. plain flour
1/2 cup whole milk
Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes, celery and onion in water with seasonings until potatoes are tender. Mix flour in milk and slowly stir into pot of potatoes. When soup thickens, remove from heat and serve with cornbread.
