4 lb. Pork Back or Side ribs
1 medium onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
Sauce:
1 c. tomato sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. paprika
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
Freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place ribs in large saucepan. Barely cover with water and salt lightly. Add onion and bay leaf. Simmer, covered for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until tender.
Barbecue Sauce:
Combine ingredients in medium saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Place precooked ribs on well-greased grill at medium heat. Brush generously with sauce. Cook, turning and basting often with remaining sauce for about 10 to 15 minutes on each side until browned and glazed.
