2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. each of cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon
1 cup oil
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup fig preserves
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients and add oil. Mix well and beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix in buttermilk, figs and nuts. Spray muffin tins with cooking spray (can use regular or mini muffin pans) and fill 3/4 full. Bake at 325 for 20 min.
