2 cups brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoon white Karo
1/2 stick butter
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup evaporated milk
2 cups pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugars, Karo, and evaporated milk in sauce pan. When mixture begins to boil, add half of the butter. Cook until 236 degrees on candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Add remaining butter and beat by hand vigorously about 150 strokes until candy is lighter in color and becomes creamy. Add vanilla and pecans. While still hot, drop quickly by spoonfuls on cookie sheet covered with waxed paper.
