4 eggs
2 c. sugar
6 c. cream
1 qt. half-and-half
3 T. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until foamy (about 5 minutes). Cook sugar and 2 cups of half-and-half until mixture almost boils. Stir about 1 cup of hot mixture into beaten eggs; return all to saucepan. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more (do not boil). Stir in cream and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into freezer can and finish filling with half-and-half. Cool at least one hour. Freeze according to manufacturers directions.
