6 large peeled and diced potatoes
1 onion chopped
1 stalk celery chopped
1 pkg. bacon
4 cups chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1-2 Tbsp. flour
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon, remove from pan, drain on paper towel and set aside. Saute onion and celery in bacon fat till tender. Add flour to this and cook and stir to make a roux (thickening) about a minute or so. Then add all other ingredients and cook an hour. Blend in blender to make smooth and return to pan. Add milk to thin to desired consistency and heat through. Garnish with crumbled bacon and cheese.
