2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. lard, cold
1 t. salt
1 t. sugar
6-8 T. ice cold water

Directions:
Mix together the dry ingredients and cut in the lard. Mix in the water and shape dough into two balls. Refrigerate 1/2 hour or so. Roll each ball into a 12 in. circle.
Makes enough for one 2-crust pie or two 1-crust pies. Great for all savoury pies (i.e. meat pot pie, onion tarte, quische, etc). If the crust is used for a sweet pie, use butter instead of lard.
