8 oz. cream cheese
1 lb. butter or margarine
2 lbs. powdered sugar
5 drops peppermint oil

Directions:
Directions:
In electric mixer bowl, cream together cream cheese, butter and peppermint. Stir in 1 pound powdered sugar; with hands, knead in remaining sugar. Any food color can be added. Roll into small balls and roll each in granulated sugar; press in mold. Dust mold with granulated sugar before each molding. (Nana's mints)

Variation: 3 oz. cream cheese, 2 tsp. butter flavoring, 1/8 tsp. peppermint oil, 1 lb. powdered sugar. Dust mold with cornstarch.
