Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
When I was growing up in Dauphin, the Dauphin Fire Company had an oyster feed for the members each New Year’s Day. They always ordered extras which could be purchased by townspeople. My grandmother always bought a quart and made oyster pie for our New Year’s Day dinner. She used a pan that was 4” or 5” deep and repeated the layers to fill it. There was no such thing as a written recipe, but I’ve reconstructed it as I remember it and my husband loves it.
