3/4 c milk
1/3 c shortening
1 envelope dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
2 c sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk & shortening; cool to luke warm (about 110º). Dissolve yeast and sugar in the milk. Combine dry ingredients. Add dissolved yeast mixture to dry ingredients. Knead in bowl slightly & divided into two parts and let rest for about 5 minutes. Spread the dough out in pans carefully with fingers.

Add desired toppings and bake at 425º for 20-25 minutes
