1 box lasagna noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 small onion
garlic powder
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 med. sized cottage cheese
grated mozzarella cheese
grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook lasagna noodles as directed on package. Brown beef with onion and a dash of garlic powder. Drain off fat and add spaghetti sauce. Heat until warm. Grease a 9x13 pan with solid shortening. Place a layer of drained lasagna noodles on the bottom of the pan. Then place a layer of meat sauce. Drain cottage cheese in a strainer and place on top of the meat sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese. Place another layer of lasagna noodles on top of the cheese mixture, end the last layer with meat sauce. Top with a sprinkle of parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350º for 1 1/2 hours.
