8-10 slices of white bread
8 beaten eggs
1 qt of whole milk; maybe a little less
1 lg can of Ortega chili’s
1 tsp. of dry mustard
1 lb shredded Cheddar cheese or 1 lb of pepper Jack cheese
1 lb of cooked ground sausage; I like Hot
Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the eggs with the dry mustard and milk. Butter the bread, cut into small pieces and line the bottom of a 13x9 baking dish. Layer ½ of the cheese, chili’s and meat; add the remaining bread and the other ½ of cheese, chili’s and meat. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.
