1 head napa cabbage - wash and let drain, remove core and chop fine
2 bunches of green onions - wash, trim and chop fine
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
2 packages of Ramen noodles, slightly broken
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup slivered or sliced almonds
1/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce

1. Melt butter in skillet, add ramen noodles, sesame seeds and almonds and brown over medium heat, stirring constantly. put aside and let cool.

2. Bring the vinegar, oil, sugar and soy sauce to a boil in a small saucepan. Boil 1-2 minutes until sugar is completely dissolved. Let cool.

3. At this point all the ingredients can be stored separately in the refrigerator - cabbage and onions in a ziplock bag, noodles, sesame and almonds in another ziplock and dressing in a small container - until needed, no longer than 24 hours. The salad can also be made immediately as soon as ingredients are cool.

4. To serve, place cabbage and onions in a large serving bowl. Sprinkle on noodles, toss lightly. Pour on salad dressing, toss lightly again. Serve immediately.
