2 sticks butter
1/2 c. water
4 T. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Oven: 350º ~ Yield: 24 servings
Heat together butter, water and cocoa, stirring constantly. When butter is melted, pour mixture over flour and sugar. Add eggs, soda, buttermilk and salt. Mix just until blended. Bake in greased jelly roll pan for 25 minutes. While warm, frost cake.

Chocolate Frosting: 1 stick butter, 4 T. cocoa, 6 T. milk, 1-lb pkg. powdered sugar, 1 tsp. nuts, mixed well. May add 1 tsp. cinnamon to cake, frosting or both.
