2 c. chopped cooked chicken
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
minced onion flakes to taste
2 c. chopped celery
1 (3 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
1 c. Hellman's mayonnaise (do not substitute)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. lemon juice
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. crushed potato chips

Oven: 350º ~ Yield: 12 servings
Combine the chicken, water chestnuts, onion flakes, celery and almonds in a large bowl and mix well. Combine the salad dressing, salt, lemon juice and chicken soup in a separate bowl and mix well. Combine the two mixtures and pour into a greased (9 X 13-inch) baking dish. Top with the potato chips. Bake for about 1 hour or until bubbly. This is an easy dish to fix for church dinners or group entertaining-always a big hit. (Recipe from Ardy Finch)
