Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly; beat in sugar and salt. Add milk and flour; beat until smooth. Heat rosette iron in hot vegetable oil (370º). For the first rosette, wipe excess oil from iron with paper towels; dip into batter, but do not allow batter to come over the top of iron. Return iron to hot oil and immerse. Fry about 20 seconds; shake the iron so that the rosette drops off and cook until golden brown. Remove rosette from oil with tongs; place on paper towels on a cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining batter. Place a layer of paper towels between layers of rosettes. When all rosettes are made, place the cookie sheet in a 300º oven and turn the oven off. Allow to cool. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. (Rosettes are good by themselves or served with strawberries and ice cream.)
