1 c. rice
1 can chicken soup
1 can onion soup
2 c. water
1 large fryer
paprika
salt and pepper to taste

Oven: 350º
Put rice in greased baking dish. Add soups and water. Place cut up chicken on top of rice and sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper. Cook covered for 1 1/2 hours.

Variation: Mix 2 c. minute rice with 1/2 c. milk and 1 can each, cream of chicken and cream of celery soup. Spread in a greased (9 X-13 inch) pan. Place cut up fryer over this and sprinkle 1 pkg. Lipton's Onion Soup mix over the chicken. Cover; bake at 350º for 2 hours. Serve with peas with water chestnuts; hot bread; fruit salad and buttermilk pound cake for an easy company meal.
