1/2 C Butter
1 1/3 C Sugar
2 Eggs beaten slightly
1/3 C buttermilk
2 C sifted flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 C mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla

Crumb Nut Topping
1/3 C crushed corn flakes
1/4 C sugar
1 Tbsp soft butter
1/4 C chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
Sift together flour, soda, salt and nutmeg.
Stir into creamed mixture with buttermilk and mashed bananas and vanilla.
Spread into a 11 1/2" x 7 1/2" loaf pan.

Crumb Nut Topping: Mix corn flakes, sugar, butter and walnuts together. Sprinkle topping over batter in pan.

Bake at 350º for 35 minutes.
