1 (6 oz.) box of Lime Jello
2 cups boiling water
1 (8 oz.) brick of cream cheese (room temperature)
1 (16 oz.) can of pears - drained
1 cup of pear juice from canned pears
1 large carton of Cool Whip - extra creamy

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve Jello in boiling water in a large glass bowl and cool. Combine cream cheese, drained pears, one cup of pear juice (from the can) in a blender and blend until smooth. Add cream cheese mixture to the Jello and fold in Cool Whip. Pour entire Jello/Cool Whip mixture into 9 x 13 glass casserole dish and refrigerate until set.

Recipe is best made the night before serving.

Another combination using the same basic recipe is Orange Jello w/canned mandarin oranges.

To make this dish fancier, after the Jello is set: Spread a thin layer of sour cream on top with thin slices of lime. The slices of lime should be cut with a slice in the middle and then twisted and set on top of the salad in a row pattern on a diagonal from corner to corner.
