½ c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
⅓ c. beet liquid
½ c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. margarine
3 c. sliced beets

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan over medium heat, cook vinegar, salt, beet liquid, sugar and cornstarch, stirring constantly. Add margarine and beets simmering about 5 minutes or until cooked through. Serves 4.
