1 C butter melted
1 C granulated sugar
1 C brown sugar
2 eggs
2 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 C quick cooking oats
1/2 C coconut (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter; add sugars and eggs. Sift together flour, salt baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Stir into sugar mixture until well blended. Stir in oats and coconut. Roll into small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and press dough with a fork. Bake in a preheated 350º F oven for 8-10 min or until done.

VARIATION: 1 C chocolate chip or 1 C raisins may be stirred into dough before baking if desired
