2 lbs. Short Ribs
1/2 c flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 large onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 - 10-1/2 oz can beef bouillon
1 c red wine
1/4 tsp thyme
1 - 4 oz. can button mushrooms drained

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge ribs with mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Place ribs on rack in shallow pan and brown at 500º about 20 min. being careful that they do not burn.
Saute onion and peppers in butter, add bouillon, wine and thyme
Place short ribs in a 3 or 4 qt. casserole dish, pour bouillon mixture over ribs. Cover and bake at 325º about 2 hours or until meat is tender. About 20 min. before removing from oven add mushrooms.
