2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 lb. butter or marg. (cold & cut-up for food processor)
1/2 c. sugar
1 extra large egg
1 t. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor fitted with the metal blade, mix flour and butter til crumbly. Add sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix til blended. Dough will be slightly dry. Place on a flat surface and knead into a ball. Divide dough into 2 round flat portions. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate. May be kept in refrigerator up to 1 week. May be frozen.
Dough can be used in BUTTER COOKIE CUT-OUTS, CHEESECAKE SQUARES, CANDY KISS COOKIES, LEMON-ALMOND TARTLETS AND CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE TART SHELLS.
