8 to 10 medium potatoes (6 c. shredded) OR use frozen hash browns
1 c. (4 oz.) provolone cheese, shredded
1 tbsp. grated onion (or more)
1 tbsp. seasoned salt (Tony Chachere’s Creole)**
Black pepper to taste
½ stick butter or oleo
1 c. half & half cream



Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes in skins until tender. Drain & cool. Grate on large side of grater. Combine potatoes with cheese, onion & seasonings. Taste for seasoning. Place in baking dish. Dot with butter or oleo. Pour half & half over potatoes, when ready to bake.

Bake at 375 for 45 minutes to 1 hour til lightly brown & crispy.
