3 Pounds of pork ribs
1 large onion chopped
4 cloves garlic
4 tbsp chicken base
3 tbsp splenda or honey
2 tbsp ginger and 1 red and 1 green pepper chopped

Sauce
1 20 oz can of pineapple chunks
1 8 oz can of crushed pineapple
1 cup water and 1 cup vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 chunks of ginger, peeled
3 tbsp oyster sauce
3 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp water

Rice
2 cups of uncooked rice, prepared based on the rice package instructions

Instructions for the Ribs:
Brown the ribs in a fry pan on high heat. Place the ribs in a deep baking dish
add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT FOR THE PEPPERS into the baking dish and stir.

Instructions for the Sauce:
in a large saucepan, combine water, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, oyster sauce and bring to a simmer. Simmer this for 5 minutes.

mix cornstarch/water and then add to sauce. Simmer for another 5 minutes.

pour sauce over ribs and cook in oven at 350 degrees for about 2 hours, stirring every 1/2 hour.

in the last 10 minutes of cooking, stir in the green peppers, as to not overcook them.
