2 cups cooked rice
2 cups Bisquick
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
2 large eggs
1 ½ tsp. vanilla, divided
½ cup evaporated milk
1 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. or more of water, to desired consistency

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together the rice, Bisquick, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
2. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla, and evaporated milk. Add to rice mixture, and chill for one hour.
3. Roll mixture into 1-Tablespoon balls and drop into hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
4. Combine powdered sugar, remaining ½ tsp. vanilla, and water to make icing. Coat calas in icing.
