oranges (number based on servings desired: 1 serving per small orange, 1-1/2 serving per large orange)
coconut, as desired*
maraschino cherries, as desired


*Regular Baker's sweetened coconut flakes are good. For a very special presentation try the Trader Joe's Unsweetened Coconut Chips (in the dried fruit section).

Cut off orange peel with a sharp knife removing all white pith. Holding orange over serving bowl, slide knife down one side of a membrane, then twist and slide out the other membrane to release one segment. Repeat for all segments, then squeeze the membranes to release juice and discard. Repeat for all oranges. Mix with coconut and maraschino cherries.
