1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
dash of salt
6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven according to cake package directions. Prepare cake according to package directions and fill lined muffin tins 2/3 full.

Combine remaining ingredients. Drop 1 rounded teaspoon of the mixture into the center of each cupcake. Bake as directed for cupcakes. Store in refrigerator.

Ashton, when making this for your birthday cake, I put all the cake batter in a 9x13 pan and then drop the filling on top.
