2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. canned pure pumpkin
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Glaze:
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
3 T. milk
1 T. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a medium bowl.

In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in pumpkin, egg and vanilla until smooth. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.

Bake for 15-18 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes then remove to wire rack to cool.

Combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over cookies or dip tops of cookies in glaze. Let set.
