Ingredients:  
1 c. flour ½ c hot milk
1 t baking powder 2 eggs
¼ t salt 1 c sugar
1 T butter or margarine 1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt, add butter to milk. Heat and keep hot.
Beat eggs until thick, gradually add sugar, beating constantly on medium
4 to 5 minutes. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk, add vanilla.
Pour into lightly greased and floured 9 x 9 x 2 in pan.
Bake 25 minutes at 325 degrees, cool slightly,

Frosting
When cake has cooled slightly, pour frosting over cake.
1 c sugar 1 c coconut
½ c cream 5 t melted butter

Mix together and frost warm cake. Place in broiler and brown.
Serve cake from pan.

If a larger cake is needed, double the recipe. And bake in a
larger pan.
