Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Cups:
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red food coloring
2 c. flour

Fudge:
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate
3 T. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar and cream well. Blend in egg and beat well. Add melted (and cooled) chocolate, vanilla, salt and food coloring. Blend in flour. Chill for about an hour. Shape into balls and press into regular or mini muffin tins. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.

For fudge:
Combine first six ingredients in saucepan and cook on low until chocolate and butter are melted. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Beat until lukewarm and fudge begins to lose its shine. Pour into chocolate cups.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The fudge can be a little tricky. Beat it until it begins to thicken and lose its shine and then pour it into the cups quickly. If you pour it in too soon, it won't set up. If you wait until it gets too thick and cool, it will set before you can pour it in. Practice makes perfect!
