"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Juice from two fresh lemons
1 stick butter
2 cups cider vinegar
Worcestershire sauce (add enough to turn mixture brown)

Shot of Texas Pete or hot sauce

One whole chicken or your favorite chicken parts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients except the chicken and bring to a boil in a small pot. We grill the chicken outside until it's done, then bring it back in and put the chicken in a large pot on the stove and pour the sauce over the chicken. Simmer for 1 hour or longer if necessary. Pour the sauce off and back over the chicken several times. It's ready when the chicken is tender enough to fall off the bone. We put small bowls of the BBQ sauce at each place setting for dipping.
