1/2 - 1 c. Almonds, chopped and toasted - set aside 1/8 c. for topping
1 c. Butter
1 1/3 c. Sugar
3 T. Water
1 T. Light Corn Syrup
1/2 c. Chocolate Chips, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Toast almonds at 350º on a cookie sheet for 5-8 minutes. Set aside. In a heavy sauce pan, place butter, sugar and water over low heat. Add corn syrup, stir until mixture boils, then stir occasionally until the mixture reaches 300º Watch closely when it reaches 275º, it will move to 300º quickly . When it reaches 300º, remove from heat and add toasted nuts. Pour onto ungreased cookie sheet. Cool. When cool, spread on melted chocolate and sprinkle with finely chopped nuts.
