1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 env. taco seasoning mix 1(8-oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (15-oz.) can Mexi-beans or chili beans 1(4-oz.) can chopped green chilies 6 flour tortillas, halved( divided usage) 2c. (8-oz) shredded cheddar cheese (divided usage)

Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet. Drain fat. Stir in seasoning mix, tomato sauce, beans and chilies. Preheat oven to 350º Layer half the tortillas on the bottom of a 12x8 inch baking dish. Spread half the meat mixture over and sprinkle with half the cheese. repeat layers. Bake for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. FOR MICROWAVE COOKING: Cook on full power 16 to 18 minutes or until heated through. Turn 3 to 4 times during cooking time.
