6 oz. sliced almonds
7 c. old fashioned rolled oats
2 c. grape nuts cereal (optional)
3 c. shredded coconut
4 oz. sunflower seeds
3/4 c. canola oil
1 c. honey
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
1 c. dry cranberries
1 c. wheat germ

Directions:
Directions:
In a very large pan (deep cookie sheet), mix together the almonds, oats, grape nuts, coconut, and sunflower seeds.

In a saucepan, heat together the oil, honey and vanilla. Pour over the dry mixture and toss to coat. Toast in the oven on 325º for 15-20 minutes until lightly brown. Make sure to toss the mixture every 5 minutes to prevent scorching on the bottom.

Remove the mixture from the oven and immediately add the raisins, cranberries and wheat germ to the hot mix. Toss and allow to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container.
