4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves. (About 1 lb.)
Ground nutmeg, Salt, Pepper
2 t. Cornstarch
1 t. Brown sugar
Dash of pepper
½ C. Unsweetened pineapple juice
1/3 C. Chicken broth
1/4 C. Dried sherries, coarsely chopped

Preheat standard broiler, meanwhile rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg, salt and pepper.

Place chicken, boned sides up, on unheated broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 12-15 minutes, turning once.

Meanwhile, for sauce, in a small saucepan, combine cornstarch, brown sugar, pepper. Stir in pineapple juice, chicken broth. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Stir in cherries and cook 2 more minutes. Serve over chicken.
