3/4 C. Uncooked rice
3/4 C. Water
1-12 oz. Whole kernel corn, drained
½ C. Finely chopped onion
1/8 t. Pepper
½ C. Finely chopped green pepper
1 t. Salt
3/4 lb. Lean ground beef, uncooked
2-8oz. Tomato sauce
4 Slices bacon, halved

Place rice in bottom of deep, 2-qt. casserole. Cover with corn. Sprinkle with half of salt and pepper. Blend tomato sauce and water; pour half the mixture over the corn. Sprinkle with onion and green pepper. Add ground beef by spoonfuls. Sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper. Pour over remaining tomato sauce mixture. Arrange bacon on top.
Bake covered at 350o for 1 hour, then bake uncovered for 30 more minutes. Good as leftovers, too!!!
