1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
14 oz. pkg. Kraft Caramels
˝ C or 1 small can evaporated milk
1 C. Pecans
1 C. Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350o. Prepare cake according to package directions. Pour ˝ of the batter into a “pam sprayed” 9x13 pan. Bake for only 15 minutes. In top of double broiler over hot water, melt together the caramels, milk, and butter. Pour this over the baked portion of the cake. Sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips over the caramel mixture. Spread remaining batter over the caramel mixture. Bake an additional 25-30 minutes. If desired, you may, before returning the cake to the oven, sprinkle ˝ C. of the pecans over the top of the batter.
