1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2-3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts optional

Directions:
Directions:
In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugar until it becomes light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Continue to beat until fluffy and light.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add to creamed mix.. Add mashed bananas and beat one minute longer.
Stir in chopped nuts.
Bake at 350°F degrees until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean roughly 45 minutes
