½ lb. bacon, diced
2 T. corn starch
½ tsp. dry mustard
½ tsp. white pepper
½ salt
4 cups chicken broth
6-oz. elbow macaroni
1-12 oz. can evaporated milk
1-lb. process American cheese(Velveeta)

Directions:
Directions:
In 5 quart saucepan on medium heat fry bacon until almost crisp. Add corn starch, mustard, pepper and salt. Stir for 2 minutes. Add broth stirring until slightly thickened and starting to boil. Add macaroni, bring to a boil. Lower heat to med-low, cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add milk and cheese and cook until heated through and cheese is melted. Makes about 8 servings.
