1 cup cooking oil
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon allspice
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup fig preserves, chopped
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup chopped apples
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients.
In another bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda and spices.
Add to first mixture, then add all remaining ingredients. Beat about 2 minutes until well blended.

Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325º for 60 minutes. Reduce heat to 315º and bake another 10 to 20 minutes.
Test for doneness. Allow to cool 20 minutes before removing from pan.
